I read a lot and write a lot but sleep a little.
I'm still in my twenties but not for long.
I live in the South but was raised in the West. I've found myself a little spot that is very much South meets West.
I listen to a lot of music but it's random and eclectic. If I like it, I listen to it. I am not up on what's cool and my ipod mostly streams the songs I rocked in high school.
I worked for an awarded portrait and wedding photographer after college. Then I felt like making a difference so I spent five years in child welfare. For the sake of my sanity, me and saving the world are on a break.
I have two small children who are way too close in age and ridiculously cute. It's the cuteness that keeps them alive. I have many days when I understand why some species eat their young.
My alternate self is covered in tattoos. My actual self has a few and wants more.
I am one of those odd birds that can smoke cigarettes when I feel like it (ie I'm drinking) but have never been a regular give-me-a-ciggie-or-I'll- cut-your-face smoker. I know many who hate me for this. I give them some nicotine gum and pat them on the back. The only thing I've ever been addicted to is Twilight. And Dr. Pepper.
I was raised by hippies and it shows.
